 Clearwater Beach is located midway on Florida's
West Coast. It lies beyond the Intracoastal. The Island

over the last three years. In 1994, Clearwater Beach was named, "Best Beach", & in
1993, "Readers' Choice". Two Clearwater beaches, Caladesi Island & Sand
Key have been named among the "Top 20" best beaches in the United States.

One City, One Future, is now well underway, with the start
of construction soon to take place on the dramatic new Gateway
to the Beach, as well as on the Gulf-to-Bay pilot project. It's progress
on both ends of State Road 60 & the final results of these & the
other One City, One Future; projects will have many positive
long & short-term effects for area residents, businesses & visitors.
Beautification is probably one of the most obvious benefits for both projects.
With the new beach Gateway's entrance feature, stately palms & a roundabout
with water centerpiece, visitors & residents will have a definite sense
of arrival. Boutiques, a variety of restaurants, hotels & motels abound
on the beach.
Award-winning Tampa International Airport is a brief drive from Clearwater Beach. |
